Blog expertise needed

This may appear narcissistic but my followers have disappeared and I want them back! Something really odd has happened to my site because my dashboard shows I have 29 followers but can't see the list on the dashboard or on the blog. I've tried deleting the gadget from the blog layout and resetting. Is there a techno savvy sewer who can help or point me in the right direction?

  1. I can see the followers just fine on my screen, so don't worry that they have disappeared from the World Wide Web.

Maybe clear your cache/ cookies/ temporary files? Don't know if you are using a Mac or PC, or what Internet browser you have, but hopefully you or a spouse or teenager near you can give you more speedy help than I can. If not, you can email me or Google the instructions. Hope that's all it is! :)

  2. Sometimes mine go away but they always come back. I don't understand any of it. I can see them right over to the right here so they're not really gone.

  3. Hello. that happened to me, too. I'll send you a private email. I noticed a couple of months back, (after going through panic and frustration) that GOOGLE had made a change in the way they list followers to where they all don't show up. At first, I thought it was just my blog, but they did this with everyone (at least all of the blogs I follow). Will send a private email on more tomorrow. Getting kinda sleepy, but saw this as I was taking one last peek at blogs before shutting down.

  4. Thanks Antoinette - it was to do with cookies and not the ones I ate.

  5. Enjoying your blog.

I just posted some sweet little quick and easy little sundresses I made for my 8 year old daughter with instructions on how to do it yourself, and I recently made a maxi dress for myself from a 1974 pattern I found in an antique store.

(My 8 year old also has her own blog where she shares her sewing adventures. www.sewingsister.blogspot.com

  6. Mmmmmm, cookies...

    Glad it worked. LOL
