Mini me just arrived home totally inspired after her first day at a fashion design school holiday program. We couldn't resist posting another photo of the dress with those boots. She is definitely cultivating an individual sense of style.
Fashion Design School holiday programme?! Oh how I would have KILLED for that when I was young! (Still would, probably). I love to see teenagers with a truly individual sense of style, rather than the usual sight of groups of young girls walking down the street looking exactly the same. The dress is great, and the gumboots an inspired choice :-)
Soooooooo cute! That dress looks just right on her. Did you use a pattern or just kind of eyeball it as you put it together? Something tells me you can get a lot of variations from a pattern like that.
