Field trip to Jimmy's Buttons

In my last post I mentioned the chaos of Jimmy's Buttons.  When my friend Ros sent these photos from our field trip with Susan Khalje I couldn't resist sharing.

It clear from the photos that Jimmy doesn't worry too much about customer or staff safety, but friends...take the risk...there are treasures in that cave!

  1. There used to be a sewing repair shop in my suburb that was like that, stuff piled floor to ceiling, up the stairwell, hanging off walls, but you could ask for the most bizarre sewing-machine related thing and the owner would know exactly where it was and he could service any machine to run like a dream. I love these old fashioned shops!
