I need a new camera. This rather grainy image doesn't do justice to my new favourite Autumn jacket - an old favourite for some of you. I've used Burda 04/09 jacket 116 and can only conclude that this is a great pattern. My fabric, a khaki/brown/black ponte is so comfortable to wear and holds up well after a long day at work. It is rather late and I need to head off for bed, but wanted to post a wearing photo before I changed into the jamies. The inside of the jacket is pretty impressive, so will post a more detailed review tomorrow.
Great jacket! Looking forward to detail shots.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Gail xx
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I like it! It's very smart but in no way dull! It's a jacket that could be dressed up or down, would go with so many outfits. I would really like one myself but so far I have been too lazy to trace off any Burda patterns.
ReplyDeleteLike Lisette, I'll look forward to seeing more details.
Great looking jacket.
ReplyDeleteGreat Jacket! It looks versatile, a go with anything kinda jacket. Looking forward to seeing inside.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see it finished and it looks very smart. Looking forward to seeing more details.
ReplyDeleteFantastic jacket! I have some grey ponte I'm thinking of making into a jacket, so your post is perfectly timed. When I was taking my SWAP pics I realised just how crappy my camera is, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat jacket. I have one made up in this pattern too, and its a real workhorse. Mines not a stretch fabric- using ponte is a fabulous idea!
ReplyDeleteLove the jacket and ponte is a great choice. I imagine you'll be able to wear it for years to come. Will check back for details. I do so love looking at details!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. It fits you so well!
ReplyDeleteThat jacket does look pretty amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing more detailed shots soon... :)
