Nice outfit, bad photo
Husbie arrived just as I was about to leave so I asked for a photo. Four shots later, this is the best of breed. Next up another version of Vogue 8603 in grey and black leopard print ponte and a vintage style jacket in green and white crinoline. No they are not a set!
Beautiful outfit and I totally understand the picture taking by husbands. I switch my camera to continuous pictures, so all my husband has to do is hold down the button until I say stop.
ReplyDeleteYour dress and jacket are both wonderful. The dress fabric is so luscious. I never would have noticed this pattern, but now I'm wanting to make this up, especially the jacket.
ReplyDeleteI think my comment got swallowed, so I'm trying again...
ReplyDeleteYour outfit looks absolutely wonderful, and perfect for the theatre! Warm and fabulous!
And my husband takes such awful photos he has been let off that duty. I think we are both relieved about that!
I have only recently found your wonderful blog via Tessuti...:) I have been eyeing that fabric off too....:) wonderful to see it made up... I have to buy online due to location... Even better that you were able to make a dress with a woven without a zipper!! LOL!!! My kind of thing!!! I am such a trouser girl... And have been noting how many people make dresses....:) and love this outfit!! thanks for sharing!!looove the colours in this!! Can't wait to see more of your inspiration!

Fantastic outfit. Love it with the boots.
ReplyDeleteSuit adorable!! Love the colors used! I accompany you in feeling, with photos of her husband, they seem to have a deep problem with getting a decent picture after ten attempts, heh, heh. However, I can admire your outfit today, so we forgive him.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous...bad photo and all

I love that outfit! My husband is my photographer and after a number of years, he now takes it very seriously -- he has shifted from scientist to art director! Your man jacket turned out beautifully as well -- kudos to your husband for posing for the cameras!
ReplyDeleteBlogger flipped out when I tried leaving my last comment so here goes again... This outfit looks like that rare combination of sophisticated and truly cozy! I'm trying to coach my 8-year-old into a proficient level of blog photography but it's slow going. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great - yes we all appreciate a decent photographer!
ReplyDeleteYour jacket looks great, and your husband's turned out so well too!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! I love the patterned fabrics you've used recently, this one especially. Congrats on a beautiful outfit.
ReplyDeleteI love both pieces! A very elegant outfit!
